Rock House Vets – Veterinary Surgeon

Rock House Vets is an independent small animal practice located in Tettenhall, West Midlands. It was set up by two friends, Heather & George, with their aim to provide affordable veterinary care with compassion and empathy at the forefront of their work. Due to Heather & George’s work in the area over the last few years, we are expecting a high surgical case load so this role would be perfect for someone who wants to develop their surgical skills or are considering a certificate. However, as we are a new practice, we are always open to tailoring the job to suit the wants and needs of the candidate- if you favour consultations over surgery, we can make that happen! If you love surgery and your dream is to spend all day in the operating theatre, we’ll make sure you rarely see the inside of a consult room. If you’re an all-rounder and love a mixture of consults and theatre time that’s fine by us! We will always work with you so you can get the best out of the job.
We have in house idexx machines, digital x-ray, ultrasound & microscopy and will be looking to add to our in-house diagnostics in the future.

The role we have to offer will be 4 days per week, 8.30am to 6.30pm.
• 1 in 3 Saturdays – 9am-12pm
• No additional OOH
• Salary from 42,000 to 70,000 depending on experience
