VETOADOM UK (EMERGENCY HOME VET) is a brand-new service establishing in London. Our home service operates exclusively for emergencies and requires someone with a passion for providing compassionate and high-quality support to pets and their family.
This is the opportunity to join a young and dynamic team, to experience an innovating and rewarding way to practice as an emergency vet surgeon, within a group rich of 30 years of experience in veterinary emergency in France, Switzerland and Belgium.

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for Emergency Veterinary Surgeons to join our team in London.
Already located in several French, Swiss and Belgian cities, we are developing our home care services in London. The role will consist in providing in-home veterinary emergency cares, throughout the London area, during night and week-end shifts.

LOCATION

You will be offered to stay at home until we contact you for your first intervention of your shift. Then, the area is limited to the Greater London. Therefore, it is to be based in the Greater London. Accommodation can be discussed if necessary.

THE TEAM

During your shift, you will be in contact with a phone triage nurse, who will be in charge of triage and scheduling interventions. Your only concern will be to provide the greatest cares to your patient at their owner’s place.
A Practice Manager is also available over the day to answer your different questions about shift scheduling, help you over administrative questions and settle the various formalities (like insurance forms).
A Clinical Director will be easily reachable, even during your shifts, to help you with medical questions and decisions.

THE EQUIPMENT

You will be offered a fully equipped intervention bag: portable analyzers (blood glucose, lactate, creatinine, hematocrit, hemoglobin), urine strips, urinary catheters, portable US Scan (for trained vets), resuscitation kit, oxygen, all injectable medications mandatory for emergency cares, catheters, infusion, dressings, sterile surgical kits …

Your schedule will be established 1 to 2 months in advance, according to the availabilities that you will give us. You decide when you work!
You can be provided with a smartphone, if you need one to work. Accommodation and vehicle rental can also be discussed if needed.

THE SALARY

30% of the income generated, with a minimum salary of 70000£ DOE, for a full time role (equivalent to 1728 worked hours annualized, 1937 hours including holidays)

Few days of shadowing in our Paris Home service. Transportation and accommodation paid.
