Vet Surgeon – Wendy Lane Vets

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our current 5 vet, 5 RVN, 1SVN, 1 SQP, and 7 support staff team. We have a long standing team of vets, from one vet with over 30 years employment, the owner of the practice is a working vet who joined us in 2007 and took ownership in 2013, 2 vets who joined 6 years ago, and the 1 year qualified, who joined as a new grad and is exceeding expectations.

Vets will have clinical freedom to work up and manage their own caseloads. An interest in any complimentary therapies is an advantage as we are looking to expand, with a third site planned for next year, with Hydrotherapy, physio and KLaser facilities.

We work closely with a local charity, who have a rehoming centre for cats and small furries, as well as facilities for wildlife treatment and rehabilitation.
Some flexibility with hours as this is an addition to the current team. Every other Saturday morning 9am – 12pm, Closed Sundays and Bank holidays, has a separate OOH provider.

5 weeks holiday, plus 1 week for CPD. CPD encouraged and funded.

RCVS Membership and 1 journal/other membership paid.
