City Road Veterinary – Veterinary Surgeon

Cornwall Truro Independent

Star Vet needed June/July 2023 in beautiful Cornwall
City Road veterinary centre is a small animal veterinary practice based centrally in the cathedral city of Truro, Cornwall. Not having advertised for a vet for many years, we now have a very exciting opportunity for one to come and join us in 2023

We are the longest established independent practice in Cornwall
We are part of the Vet Dynamics and Vetsure independent practice community and have won numerous awards in recent years
Our client base is fortunate enough to allow us to work up, investigate and perform surgery to a high standard
We believe that veterinary care is more than just about caring. Truly caring for pets is more than just making sure they are fit and healthy. Caring is about being connected and strengthening the bond between the pet, it’s owner and us the Vet.
Truro is the cathedral city of Cornwall, with all the amenities of a city, yet with the charm of a county town , situated a short drive to the beaches of the north and south coast.
We are veterinary surgeon and practice manager owned.
We have all the usual toys that you might expect within a high end clinic
We have visiting APs in surgery, orthopaedics and cardiology with an in house AP in Dermatology
We have an established shared vision and team derived culture
We meet regularly socially with twice yearly major events
We like to put the FUN into veterinary practice

A full time vet with 2+ years experience ideally but part timers and new graduates are welcome to apply ( As well as being a VetGDP, we are also a Vetsure graduate friendly practice, so new graduates would be hugely supported with a designated mentor)
