Vetsure celebrate 10th ‘Think Tank’

We celebrated our 10th ‘Think Tank’ event on May 11-12 which took place at Sutton Coldfield’s New Hall Hotel and Spa.

The output of the previous event was a blue print document surrounding the ‘Power of collaboration’ which included a five year plan for the Vetsure network. It was this document that identified the need for support in the area of this Think Tank’s topic of discussion ‘Digital Disruption’.

Ashley Gray, Managing Director of Vetsure said: “Uber is the world’s largest taxi company but owns no cars. AirBnb is the world’s largest hotel group but owns no property. Surely such disruption in the veterinary industry is impossible? Or is it?

We want to inspire our members to think about the disruptive digital forces that may turn around our industry – and encourage them to create a digital marketing plan for their vet practice.”

The event which was sponsored by Bayer, Dechra and Zoetis, included guest speaker Charles Southey, Co-founder of Digital Results, who introduced some of the emerging technologies in digital marketing and showed how vet practices can put a digital marketing plan into action.

Simon Tai Owner of City Road Veterinary Centre (and Vetsure member since 2012) said:
